MY STATUS QUO
I'm done with this administration.
Seriously.
Why? Let's see: illegal war, lies, violations of privacy, lies, subverting the Constitution, more lies,
ignoring the will of Congress, torture, stolen elections, anti-choice, anti-gay, fear-mongering, outing a CIA agent, arresting
peace activists, the response to Katrina, imperialism, destroying my planet.....
Am I missing anything? Probably, but if I tried to cover everything I'd be here for a week.
IMPEACH THEM! Unless you *want* a totalitarian facist police state. Write to your state and federal representatives,
and tell them you WANT THE NEOCONS OUT! Email impeachthem@gmail.com and join the North Jersey Impeach Group if you agree and are serious about taking your country back. America:

| I MET ADAM GRAVES!!! At the Rangers Game 5 viewing party in NYC on 4/18. LET'S GO NYR!! |
*BREAKING NEWS*
(4/22) Happy Earth Day and thank GOD Spring's here! I've been chomping at the bit for warmer weather, and it's here.
So, updates...workingworkingworking. My job at the chiropractor's is starting to get stale. I want to move on, go back to
school, start my life. Teaching is going well, I have more students now. Currently, I'm helping John house sit for his cousin
who's trying to sell her townhouse in West New York. It's pretty sweet having the place to ourselves. We've had a potluck
and lots of other guests in and out, and generally been enjoying ourselves. Anyway, the Rangers are in the playoffs and just
beat the Devils to win round one (see the Blueshirt page for more)! I recently went to a game 5 viewing party hosted by the
Rangers at a nice old theater in NYC, where not only did I watch the Rangers win along with 1,000 other screaming fans, but
I got a free playoffs towel, and I met Adam Graves!!! (as you can see above) I got his autograph on the towel too. I was starstruck!
Anyway, that's all the news I can think of at the moment. PEACE!
(10/12) Happy Fall! I love fall - it's always felt like a fresh start, like my own personal spring.
Perhaps that's because for most of my life, it's meant a new school year, but even now it feels as if I'm turning the page
yet again and embarking on a new phase. After a long hard summer of job-hunting, I finally found an arrangement that works
beautifully. I am a receptionist for a friendly, extremely Russian chiropractor in Clark three days out of the week, and guess
what: I am now a violin teacher at the Workshop!! I have 8 new students! Apparently I am the only student in NJWA history
who has grown up and come back there to teach - they're going to put it in the paper and everything. *giggle* Also, one
of my chiropractor's patients invited me to join a community orchestra that he's a member of in West Orange, so now I'm playing
in an orchestra again, which feels great. For those who may know, I had a bit of personal drama this summer right after the
last entry was written - it was traumatic and it temporarily ended my relationship, but we've worked it out, and I'm just
teaching myself to enjoy the positive experiences it's bringing me. I am very much in love and John is a beautiful person
whom I adore! Lastly, a bit of exciting news: a couple friends and I went to Farm Aid on Randall's Island, and it was wonderful.
It featured a "Homegrown Village," locally farmed eats, and an all-star musical lineup. The best part is when we were approached
by one of the artists and some Farm Aid staff in the grass seats where we were sitting and, out of the blue, given $300 4th-row
center seats to enjoy Counting Crows, the Allman Brothers Band, Dave Matthews, John Melloncamp, Neil Young and Willie Nelson
from 20 feet away!! They featured us on their blog, which you can see at the link above - just click it, then scroll
down about a 1/3 of the way and read where it says "Ryan Continues a Farm Aid Tradition," and watch the video! :-) AWESOME!
I love Farm Aid!!!
